Hello, my name is Jesus Santiago Castillo, Executive Chef — AKA Chef Zeus for Mangia Mangia Italian Kitchen. I was born in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico and raised in LA. I later settled in San Diego, where I was exposed to a variety of different cuisines and flavors. I fell in love with food as a child. What I like most about cooking is my ability to manipulate a recipe and make it my own.
I landed my first food-industry job at age 18 as a dishwasher. Through my passion and perseverance, I quickly progressed to line cook. With more than 10 years of experience and a number of culinary titles, I finally arrived at Mangia Mangia Italian Kitchen, where we make your catering dreams come to life.
